On July 31st, the Shanghai Economic and Information Technology Commission released the "Implementation Plan for Promoting the Urban Blockchain Digital Infrastructure System Project in Shanghai (2023-2025)".

It is proposed that the blockchain technology should be used to enable risk control and penetration supervision of the banking industry, provide reliable supply chain financial services, improve the efficiency of credit financing for SMEs, and accelerate the promotion of innovative Financial inclusion services. Promote the pilot of cross-border financial blockchain service platforms, achieve end-to-end trusted information exchange and effective verification between banks and enterprises, and establish a real-time interactive mechanism for interbank trade financing information. For enterprise credit evaluation and industry mutual trust evaluation, we will promote the construction of industry credit chains, establish and optimize social credit information sharing mechanisms, integrate credit information of enterprise entities in various links of the supply chain, achieve characteristic applications in internal risk management, business bidding, and external financial services, and build a cross industry and cross domain social credit interconnection system.
